Marker Paintings
The media of choice were a set of grey markers on marker paper (See my materials list below). White deco markers were used for subtle highlights. Apart for a few exceptions, all pieces listed below were done at a 6" X 9" scale.
Did you know that some of these were FOR SALE?

Drawings and Sketches
The majority of the artwork displayed here were done with a Conte Sketching Pencil on 18" X 24" newsprint smooth pads (See my materials list below). There are also some quick sketch figure drawings done with a ballpoint pen and a medium grey marker on toned sketchbook pads.

The cartoon pencil drawing was done on a sheet of purple paper I happen to find. I picked the highlights using a white Prismacolor pencil

Watercolor Paintings
All of the following paintings were done on heavyweight toned scrapbook paper (See the materials list below). The exception is the zombie poster I created on 300lb watercolor paper as a model for my art students' project.

I normally stick to "Flats" which are watercolor brushes with flat tops. Since I normally work at a small scale I have no brush that's larger than 1-inch. The Winsor & Newton brand on the right is what was recommended to me by
Mike Hernandez. |

The Schmincke Metal Box is the best constructed watercolor kit I've ever seen in person. It's easy to clean and the quality of paints it comes with are great. I have recently ordered empty "full pans" from the company in order to fill them with professional quality tube paint using Nathan Fowkes' color palette.
