Learning How To Draw Portraits
Due Wednesday, April 11th students must complete their poster by in the following ways:
Assignment 1. The poster must have pen lines in the shaded portions of the country of origin AND the face.
Assignment 2. The poster must have two colors using watercolors as shown in class. Use only analogous colors. Looking at the color wheel below, you must choose one and one other color that is directly next to it. For example, if you choose the color blue you can either choose green OR purple.
Also due April 11th are these other portrait assignments. Please do not draw the "cockroach eyes, glove nose, or hamburger mouths" covered in the previous lessons.
Using your in-class notes (Your notes are Assignment 5) you are to draw the other side of these portraits. Please follow the rules above by not drawing "cockroach eyes, glove nose, or hamburger mouths". The purpose of this lesson is for you to observe how parts of your face line up to one another. I will only accept drawing that have the "lines" drawn on the faces. Again, use your in-class notes to see what those lines are.
